Techie to IS Manager

Hello everyone,

I need some advice on recognised IT management training/qualifications in the UK.

I am an experienced MCSE that has landed the role as a team leader in a large corporate IS dept. I like it (people management is more of a challenge than sys mgmt!) and want to consolidate my position then take the next step into an IT Manager role - my manager is part of the furniture so it will have to be elswhere!.
