TCS Certificate issues

I have an interesting situation occurring with one of my IPO at a remote location.

I started receiving the warning regarding the TCS expiry in X days for all my systems, I followed the direction from and it worked on 3 of 4 systems.

However, on the 4th system, I can't seem to load the web manager from any system or browser, but I can load the web manager for the other systems with issues. Also find it odd, that when I check the SD card for the certificate folder, it doesn't exist on the 4th system, but does on the rest.

There is a slight version difference. System 1 & 2 are on 10.1.0.4.0 Build 7, system 3 & 4 are on 10.1.0.1.0 build 3.

Has anyone come across this kind of issue?

Have you checked that the certificate error is present via "System Status"?. It sounds as if you don't have any Certificates installed if the folder is missing.

I've found that only Windows Internet Explorer gets me to be able to upload the certificate into the delete folder. It is a pain having to open up Windows Edge and then go to the compatibility prt to open up good old explorer as this seems to be the only patch that allows Java to work.

I did a guide on this, but it is much easier if you are on site and can get at the SD card to add in the file in the delete folder.

That's a nice guide you put together.
I do see the warning in the system status. But for whatever reason, I cannot get the web manager for that system to load. it just spins. what I don't understand is that on the same browser I can access the web manager for my other systems.
My unit is an IP Office unit 500v2, not the server edition.

I'm was hoping there was another way I could create that folder without having to pull the SD card, as this is a remote site, and would need to take a 4 hour plane trip lol.

Is it possible that the web management files are not loaded on that system? When you recreate an SD card through manager it will ask you if you want to include those files, selecting no will make it so you can't use web management. Also happens when you try a proper upgrade and the system HTTP fails during the large file transfer after the BIN files are uploaded. This is caused by trying to upload files that are 0 bytes, though I'm not sure when that particular bug was introduced.

Either way, you could try a remote upgrade to the latest version of 10.1 and see if that fixes the issue.

Your other option of course is to ignore the error as per the Avaya notice.

Is there a way to tell if those files are loaded? I inherited this system so I'm trying to sort out everything still. It looks like those file may be on there, as I see Webmanagement and webmangeee folders under primary, with files inside. I'm scheduled to reboot this system tonight, so perhaps I will try and regenerate the cert and reboot it and see if the certificate folder gets created.

The only thing highlighted in Red is the TCS warning. The regeneration of the certificate didn't do anything, and neither did the reboot. Still can't load the Web manager.
I'm starting to wondering if something on the system is corrupt and recreating the SD card might be the only option? not sure a remote upgrade would solve if the system is corrupt, but please correct me if I'm wrong.

Sadly I get this error when I try to upload system files.

You can search for the missing files in the Manager installer ZIP.

It's a phone firmware files that also can be downloaded directly from support.avaya.com.

Thanks derfloh,

I did locate the particular one, but got another message stating it was missing more files, I'm not getting errors for a webmanagement cache file.

And make sure its full IP Office Manager, not the version installed from the Admin lite installation package.

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

it never worked for me from Manager, always had to go in through WebManager then it worked

So I've removed IP Office, downloaded the latest ADmin CD (10.1 SP7), reinstalled manager, Still getting errors about missing files when trying to upload system files. Still can't access the web manager for the one system in question.

So a new issue has arisen since I rebooted the IPO after this certificate change. Mobile twinning for internal calls no longer works, but external calls work just fine.

to provide a little more info. before the reboot, when extension 1111 called extension 2222 (user with mobile twinning setup) both their desk phone and cell phone would ring. and externally, if "Jimmy's" school call the main number and dialed ext 2222, twinning work fine ringing both phone.

After the reboot, when ext 1111 calls 2222, only the desk phone rings, a message on ext 1111 comes up stating "waiting for line" and then "gives up" and goes to the users Voicemail. However the external calls still work as expected.

Has this ever happened to anyone after a simple reboot? or should i re-post this as a new thread?

I did have sysmon running, and sys statusfor a brief millisecond i saw the word twinning, but it disappeared to quickly. with the monitor, I honestly cant make out anything that relates to twinning.

So I did a fresh trace, searching my extension, name and cell number, seeing a lot of Call lost coming up. I found compared a internal call with an external call. only part I could see that was different was this part.
