T7316E - Transfer to Voicemail (function 986) not working

Hi Everyone,

I have a phone (T7316E) where the "Transfer to Voicemail" button is not working. (function 986)

On other phones, when the button is pressed I am prompted to enter the voicemail extension. On this phone, nothing happens when the button is pressed.

I checked what the button is programmed to and it is function 986. I tried reprogramming the button again, still does not work. Then I tried programming that function to another button, again that did not work.

It does not even work when I manually enter "function 986" (without using the button).

Could it be that this option have been deactivated?

Is there a button that I have to press to enable?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is adding another "intercom assignment" the same as adding another "intercom key"?
 
Double check that you have the correct DN assigned in the mailbox. a mis-type here would cause the problems you report.

Thanks for the help! Adding another "intercom assignment" solved the issue!
 
whenever your using a vmail system you should always assign 2 intercom keys to every set.
