I have a NEAX2000 IVS and I would like to run a system audit. We use this PBX in a multi-tenant enviroment and we need to verify the system info against billing records.
You can setup an SMDR server in which this server will log any calls made by anybody. Software, like Tapit 2000 will allow you to keep better track of this information and can provide you with detailed reports of incoming and outgoing calls. The Tapit software runs you about $850, a special cable about $150 for the NEC unit is also needed. With a customer provided PC I think we charged someone locally $450 for installation and configuration.
I don't know if that is what you are looking for or if you only want to verify that specific tenants are using their specified outside lines, but let me know if this helps.
We have call accounting software running now. I guess what I'm trying to do is create plant records for lack of a better term. I would like to know how to query an extension, now the services assigned and the port/cable pair. I'm interchanging data and telephoney terms....sorry.
Do you have the NEC AIMWorX call accounting software? If you do it is pretty much out of my league. But if all you're trying to do is run reports, send me an email at agonza07@yahoo.com I'll send you over a link on a tutorial for that.
Have you done the configuration report?
There is LENS listup in MatWorx or Page 3 of the DOS MAT lets you list up half a PIM at a time(graphical) or printout 8 LENS at a time. The printout will list the tenant info, telephone type, hunt groups, pickup groups, etc.
