\system\owmngr.exe ... Trojan downloader.checkin 1

AVG found it (Norton did not). Found exe file in C:\Windows\System\owmngr.exe When I deleted, it comes back on reboot or comes back if open internet. If I did a find file, screen hangs up. Soon it became impossible to open windows. Had to F8 at powerup and install previous registery. But I found nothing strange in registery. Then installed a firewall (ZoneAlarm). QUESTION: the firewall shows constant hits 30-50 day. Have I completely taken this trojan from my system, or is it still trying to communicate with anything else related to this trojan still resident on my PC. AVG says the boot is clean. the only file I deleted was the owmngr.exe

dear smah, thanks a ton. (been on vacation) The page you sent me to was great. Read their page did all my updates, and so far no firewall warnings. This company page ency'dia is much better than the NAV ency'dia.
