2 Days ago my Symposium Express (v4.2) began having challenges with the HDM service. This started happening after performing a routine server restart. When the server comes up, it sits at "loading profile settings" for about 25 minutes before giving a loging prompt. I am assuming that the Symposium services starting up might be causing that but I am not certain. After logging on, the server moves very slow and sluggish and the sqlsrv.exe sits at 50% CPU usage while the HDM service shows a "Starting" status (for about 30 mins or more). Eventually the starting process gives up and the service does not come up, then server begins performing ok. Also when starting the Symposium client, it takes a very long time launch the informational monitors. If anyone out there that might have experienced a similar challenge can share some expertise would be great.
