What is the best way to export the 2k data to the 3300icp?
I have ops man to use for data export and I have the 3300 import spreadsheets.
Does the spreadsheet share data across forms? example (Multiline DNI set config and multiline set key assignment)
Is there a spific order to populate the spreadsheets?

To migrate an SX-2000 database to a 3300 Release 7.0 system and up, you use the 3300 ICP Configuration Tool to back up the SX-2000
database and then use the Software Installer Tool to restore the SX-2000 database file to the 3300 ICP.

• upgrade SX-2000 to LW 34.2
• use Configuration Tool to make a backup
• use the Software Installer to restore the backup to a 3300 ICP running 7.0 software (or higher version)

How I wish my migrations had the ability to take a db from Ops..

Manual migrations are a headache.

kwbMitel, that good news, it should cut down on the programming time. Where can I get a copy of the Configuration tool?

If your OPSMAN is already configured properly to talk to the SX2000 and take backups, and your SX2000 is running LW 34 you are already half way there. In the DATA SAVE folder on the OPS MAN drive will be the scheduled backup files that OPS MAN takes from the SX2000. This can be directly restored to a 3300 from the Software Installer tool using the "perform full install" & "migrate SX2000 database" buttons. One thing to watch out for, you MUST use older versions of the SW installer tool & 3300 SW. I use 8.0.11.7 & the coresponing SW installer tool. Anything newer than that and you WILL have issues. This presents the obvious problem of upgrading to an MXE III controller which doesnt support anything older than MCD 4.0 SP4.
