Hello,

New to this position, would like to know how to capture and print a file. e.g. single line set assignment

if I'm not wrong:

FORM single line set ass /port lpr1

That will print your form off the printer port on the controller

also:

FORM single line set ass /port lpr3
ena print /n

make sure to press Ctrl + c after printing finishes

That will print your form off your PC printer port, whatever it is your default printer

All that you can find on the technician handbook, don't you have one. Do you have access to Mitel On Line?

Reagrds,

Daniel

To capture a form you need to change a setting in the terminal options in Procomm as follows:

Launch Procomm
Click on Options then drag down to Data Options and select Terminal Options.
Make sure Disable Host Printing is checked *this keeps the form print from being directed to your pPC printer)
Save the changes.
On the SX2000 enter fo sing/lpr3 from the maintenance screen
Press return
System responds Formprint has been submitted
At the top of the Procomm window click the File Capture icon (basketball net catching a page)
Type en p/n and press return
You should see the form scrolling on the screen
When the form is done click the File Capture icon again and then press CTRL C
The SX2000 maintenance window will return
The file will be in the Capture folder in the Procomm folder on your HDD.
