SX-2000 Callback Feature

Greeting Fellow Mitel Users,

This is a question that has long plagued my Mitel career. The subject seems to come up every so often and then die right back down. This time, the topic has been raised yet again by the President of my company and I don't think he is going to let this one go.

So...

Is there a way to disable the Callback Feature?

It can be removed from the COS

As Wayne said, "Disable Send Message" in the users COS, but only available in Lightware 32 or so and newer.

I have a 3300ICP and this does not remove the "Callback" button on the display when calling someone internally. Should it?

apost, as stated in the other thread, once that option is set to YES in the callers COS, the button should not be presented.

VPSTRYKER, see the thread about the callbacks on the 3300, this applies to the 2000 as well.
In a nut shell, CALLBACKS cannot be disabled, but Send Message can be.
