I have a customer that we are trying to tie 3 avaya systems to the SV9100 via sip trunks.
We have 1 avaya system as our inbound/outbound and ext dialing - registered trunks and they are working.
I tried to do registered trunks to the other avaya systems with no success. So now I am trying Sip tie trunks...
has anyone everyone done multiple sip trunks with the 9100 to multiple carriers/pbxs with sip tie or even registered trunks? No getting anywhere.

I have an IP Office and an NEC_SV8100 connected via SIP line. Are they similar?

I really don't know. I haven't seen the avaya system because it is in another state. Can I ask are you using sip tie on the nec side OR are you using sip trunks in the unregistered configuration OR are you using sip trunks registered to the avaya system

I am pinging my customer's it to find out if it is an Ip office.
I am going to try and attach a picture he sent me of his config on the sip trunks.

not familiar enough with avaya to know if the system are alike and have the same config pages or if this can help Identify the system from the config page

so they are ip office systems and If you have been able to get them work with sip trunks, I am definitely interested in you setup. I think that the issue I face now is that Multiple sites is a bit of a challenge. My first sip profile is registered trunks, but I am testing just doing sip tie on the other connection and what I see in wireshark is that the 2nd connection wants to use the profile one ip address.. So it keeps going to the wrong ip to connect the call. Which is what I think NEC said might happen. There has to be a way to make then connect

Dear All Helpers

Sorry for bothering you

i'm a new @ NEC-Sopho
I've NEC-SV9100 connected to Sopho iS3000 using 2xPRI GCD-PTRA 4 wire Tied Line Trunk with 60 B-Channel
NEC-SV9100 has internal extensions of 4xxx and the Sopho has Analog Extensions [1xxx, 2xxx, 3xxx, and 5xxx] also has 34 PSTN Lines
when i dial from 4444 to 1602 the call established but when i tried to call from 1602 to 4444 i got busy tone coz there is no route configured for 4xxx on Sopho
how can i configure Sopho to know the IP Phone extensions on NEC-SV9100

i need OM command for this

also i need the IP Phones to dial 9 trunk access code on NEC then the NEC-SV9100 directly pickup any of the 34 PSTN lines on Sopho so i can establish external call from NEC IP Phones
i configure ARS and F-Route on NEC but when i dial 9 i hear another tone then i dial any mobile number i got on my NEC IP Phone Screen Line 001 then i hear silence only

i need OM command for this

Regards,
Ahmad

I would think you need to use TIE trunks and then separate them into specific trunk groups going to specific systems. Then create your numbering plan/f route to take you to the right trunk group.

I have f route setup for all ext dialing to the different locations I am going to make connections to. each location has a different trunk group.
I think I may have found my issue. I didn't change the settings in 14-18 for the other sip trunks. going to test and see what happens.
