Hi all,

Can someone help me, my Client has an Existing Sv8300 which all port capacity had been used. They plan to expand the system but SV8300 already face out. I Plan to offer the New System to them which is SV9100 System as their expansion system and plan to interconnect them through trunk to trunk using Analog Trunk Card. Question is , is this possible? if Yes, what is the process to make it work.

Thanks in advance.

There is anotherway to connect the systems together... i cant remember what its called
I used to do it with the 8100 and the 9100
The feature needs a license.

I would make complete system back ups and write down or take pictures of licenses
And other options... also only use the web tool to program the system.

Your biggest issue is how many calls are you expecting at one time between the two systems?

How many extensions and trunks do you have on the 8300?

Oh and analogue trunks are not the way to go with this!

The method to do this is by CCIS between the 2 sites. Both sites have to be licensed for CCIS.
Attached is an old cheat sheet for programming CCIS on a SV8300. I am not sure who to do it from the SV9100 side.
And yes in the 9100 it should be called K-CCIS-IP.
Your next problem will be you need port capacity on the SV8300 to do the CCIS trunks.

I dont have licences on CCIS... just plan to do it P2P analog trunk card on SV9100 to analog trunk card on SV8300. Question is can we do that or it will work?

Another option will be analog extension card for SV9100 to Analog trunk card for SV8300...

Analog will not work with any kind of efficiency. Yes you can connect the 2 together that way but you can't pass digits.

A better plan might be to use a PRI card in each system and network them together that way.
