Hi, I'm an employee of the new owners of a business, the shop came with a SV8100 phone system that has InMail - but no documentation of who it was installed by or any documentation at all really and I've been gradually getting it all fixed up how they want it. The last real issue that I'm facing is trying to circumvent the InMail Auto Attendant greeting, we just want phone calls to ring the reception line with no greeting, and if it doesn't pick up we just want it to go to voicemail. Pretty much we just want the phone/phone system to act like a regular telephone for incoming calls without any option for entering extensions, just ring the reception phone as normal and go to voicemail if it's not picked up. Any help would be appreciated, thank you.

That requires some reprogramming of the phone system. Not quite so easy for someone unfamiliar with programming the system, or without the programming software. (PCPro for the SV8100). I suggest looking for an NEC dealer to start with. There are companies on line that can log in remotely to do this for you for a nominal fee. Do some research.

Ah, I was afraid that might be the answer, I was already looking around for PCPro Software but couldn't find a 7.00 version or later as I noticed there were some things I couldn't do through WebPro. Thank you for taking the time to reply at least, I'll do a bit more research and see if there's any way I can just get the calls to route to the trunk I want instead of through InMail and then to the trunk, if I can't then I'll have to find a NEC Dealer like you said.

Edit:
I feel silly, managed to do what I wanted to do by reviewing the default Automated Attendant Answering table and adding the extension I wanted into 22-07-01 and then changing the mode options to DIL in 22-01-01

Attached, you will find a copy of PCPro v11. It will work for all versions prior. What you need to do can be done with WEBPro, however PCPro should be used since you can get a program backup before making any changes. That way you can upload it should an error be made and go back to where you were before making changes. I still suggest enlisting some help with this. if you have little or no experience.

Thank you so much for the reply and assistance, I downloaded PCPro v11, for some reason - I can only assume because the software for the system itself is version 7.0 - when I load up PCPro it doesn't have any of the settings that are already programmed into the system, I did a quick search around for the firmware/software but wasn't able to find a link for the 10.0 firmware/software update for SV8100. By any chance would you have a link handy for that as well?

Red, you would need to connect to the SV8100 via Communications/Connect, then download the current database into PcPro via Communications/Download. Any changes you make occur in the PcPro app, so you would need to Communications/Upload them to the system for them to become active.

And whatever you do, do not try uploading till you have downloaded and saved the file. Had to rebuild a system once because the owner got a copy of PCPro and uploaded a blank database!
