Sum in a text box

HI i am new to this webiste i signed up because i really like this site a lot of common sence here

so here is my question:
i have 4 text boxes on the form footer that suppose to give me the sum as the control source is "=sum([objectname])" now the first are working good but when i type the sum in the other 2 cotrol source the result is "#error" in all the four and again i deleted the source from 2 of them and then it works again i really appricite your help

It would be best if you tell us exactly what you had before you deleted it.

in all of them i had this control source "=sum([object name])" , and it works but only if i have 2 if i add even 1 more it gives me in all 4 of them error
