Out of curiousity, jeepster, what is your background? Do you have any previous xBase (dBase, FoxPro) experience? [sig]<p>Robert Bradley<br><a href=mailto: > </a><br><a href= - Visual FoxPro Development</a><br> [/sig]

I do have some experience with 1.0, 2.0 and 2.6. Mostly just making modifications to existing code and maintaining the databases. This was accomplished by spending a great deal of time reading through the books that actually were shipped with 2.0, 2.6 and an old xBase book. I found the xBase book to be the most helpful. Now I have been given the task of converting the apps to vfp6! I want to be able to take advantage of all the features in vfp6. So you see I really am just a beginner who needs a book for step by step instruction on developing an application in vfp6. [sig][/sig]

Thanks for the info on the hackers guide. (98 TJ) [sig][/sig]
