Mitel 3300 MXe III, 13.0.XXX installed. Working perfectly with all systems in our clusters, HOWEVER... (here it comes) I noticed that I either fat fingered or just forgot to go with fffffc00 (255.255.252.00) for my subnet... instead I just went with ffffff00(255.255.255.00) when I set this up.
Most of our systems are MXe and a few are MXe III and most have version 13.XXX installed a couple remaining with 12.0.XX. The only problem I am seeing is SDS errors when I make changes in our system ie. extension assignments not updating immediately in the directory. No big deal, I just check the errors out and delete, they manage to work and display properly regardless.
I know that there is a CHANGE option in System IP Properties under LAN/WAN Config. If I change the suspect octet to a 2, will it require a reboot? I am afraid to try unless I come in at 0200 or so when business slows down. I am hoping it would be as simple as the change in a DNS where you don't have to bring down the system to apply the change.
I know there are some that say I might have to reinstall and insert the proper octet, I don't think so. If so, I will be doing that when I move this system to our new data center in a few weeks.
