I have two tables that show up along side each other on a form. I have linked the tables using a query. However when I try to sift through records in any of the tables only the first record in both tables is appearing. I get an error message saying 'cannot go to thye specified record. I think it might have something to do with the Master/Child links field. The idea behind me linking the tables is I want to export different types of information from both tables to make one complete table. Any help would be much appreciated!

Generally a subform is used, if relationships between the two underlying data-sources are not related one-one. It sounds like your data might be. Therefore a simple SELECT query should produce the results you require. If the relationship is one-many, a subform is required.

You say you have linked the tables using a query. Does the query show more than one result? If so, it must be something in your form which is incorrect. If your query only shows one record, it could be this which is at fault... James Goodman
