I have a from with a subform within. On the form you can seach for a Part No that can retrieve multiple ammounts on a subform how do i crate a field on the main form that adds up the total stock in the subform and displays.

I would try using the dSum function. You may have to write the criteria in VB to get some of the variables in, then requery the text box when you subform changes

dSum ("YourField","SubformTableOrQuery",SubformName.Form.Filter)

Although if you are using a linked subform then i dont know if this will work as the links dont set the subforms filter.
