Subform sorting

Help. I have a main form with several sub forms.
Records are found by using a combo box. This works fine for the information on the main form, but i can't seem to get it to sort out the information on the subforms. It either filters out all of the records or doesn't filter out any. Can anyone point me in the right direction. Is there something obvious that I am not doing.

Have you set up the Link child & Master fields correctly so they both point towards the field that's 'Linked'.

Yes they are linked.
