I installed Laplink 2K on my Win2K. The Laplink Scheduler starts up automatically. How do I prevent that? I can view it but cannot prevent it from auto start in Windows.
Thanks for any input.

You'll find the startup call in one of the normal locations:

- All Users Start Menu
- Current User's Start Menu
- HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
- HKCU\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
- Control Panel>Services

I think that's about it.

Woops! Thinking NT. In Win2K you have to go into MMC to get at the services.
