Hi,

I have clients running Windows XP Pro SP2. We are running Windows 2003 AD network. I have PCs on the network that are running a Startup Script on Startup. This is triggered by a PC being in an OU where there is a GPO applied to run the startup script. Startup Script appears to be working fine, it displays a message when running then another when finished. However, I don't want the user to be able to login till this is complete. I am seeing the Ctrl Alt Delete form appear before my messages that the script is running and complete. I would like if this did not appear until the script is complete. Can someone point me in the right direction to make this happen if it is possible.

Thank You
Shane

Hi,

From the post i take it the script is set in the Computer Config part not the user.

Have you also set the "wait for network" option.

You are correct, it is set in the Computer portion of the GPO. No, I have not set the wait for network option. Should I try this.

Thank You
Shane

The part of GPO is Computer Configuration\Administrative Templates\System\Logon\Always wait for the network at computer startup and logon - set to Enabled

Made the change to the GPO suggest and works great...Thanks so much for the help
