I have a Symbol handheld device that ships with Pocket PC 2002 and Pocket IE. I loaded Symbol's Pocket Browser (SymbolPB) because it has some performance enhancements for barcoding applications.

Question: How can I tweak the registry to make the Pocket Browser take over as the default browser, so that after a cold-boot the PB launches my barcode app. Currently, after a cold-boot the IE launches by default, then I can X-out of IE and launch the new browser without problems.

Secondly: Does anyone know where I can download/buy a registry reference that describes all Windows Ce registry keys and syntax?

Thank you!

Dave,

Did you ever figure out how to auto-start an application with ce? I have a new device with ce.net on it that I wish to do the same thing with, autostart a terminal session.

Thanks,

Couldn't you just copy the program to the Windows/Startup folder?
