Our StarTalk mini system is answering our phones on the third ring. The auto-attendant was turned off. The message you get is" This mailbox has not been initialized..." then it sends you to the greeting stating our business hours. I can't find any settings to stop this. We do not want the system to answer calls unless it rings 5 times. I even tried turning auto attendant on and set it to 6 rings, but it does not help.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like you may have a line ringing on a phone that is forwarded to voicemail. Check your phone programming and make sure the CFNA is set to your desired number of rings.

That was the problem, but it created another. I found an exetension that was set to CFNA of 3 rings with no mailbox setup. Once I disablesd that, it is answering with another extensions mailbox. There are only two extensions in our system that are set to pick up on 4 rings. Now the system rings four times and that exetensions voicemail automatically picks up. I could just set his pick up to a higher number but there must still be something wrong with a setting.
