I'm trying to install a Startalk Flash 4 Ver 1.36 on a newer CICS version 30CGE02 NAT. The system recognize the ports as STK1, but it doesn't respond to F983, F985 or calling it. Are the systems compatible or could I have a defective Startalk?

Purchase a Callpilot 100. The version you have is not compatible with a CICS 6.0. The voicemail should not even come up at all.

Thanks telemarv. I have ordered the 1.9 Startalk software.

If you're buying new software for the flash i suggest you get the laest version. 2.01

I am trying to change the software in my test system which is a MICS from 6.0 to 2.0 Is this possible

Thanks Telemarv. I did get a 2.01 and it works great. An interesting note. I had a problem initializing the system because it had a VMI interfaced Applied Voice Lingo on the system previously. The feature 903 to reset the new Startalk is the same as the VMI configuration code. I had to reset the integration codes before the system could be recognized.

I would try and short the battery on the MICS motherboard prior to installing the older version of software so you start the system with a clean slate.

When ever changing voice mail systems you should always clear the feature codes prior to installing the vms. Use Feature FXTEST to erase old codes.

I personally would not recomend shorting that battery inside the KSU
