I have a Startalk A that keeps restarting itself. When I hook it up to a dumb terminal it will get to the point to where it says that it has passed motherboard power-on diagnostics and then it will restart. I have changed out the powersupply, harddrive, motherboard, dialogic card, and all of the cables. I have exhausted everything I know to do.

you have changed eveything on the voice mail even the harddrive and floppy controller card.

with working equipment or from parts laying around

I have changed them out with working parts out of another startalk that worked fine. I was trying to find out what was causing the problem. When I put the stuff back in the other one it works fine.

Try replacing the Lithium coin cell batery on the motherboard.
Regards
Gary
