Start menu customizations

How can I get all users to see the same customizations on the start menu as Admin? (eg: small icons, same items "pinned" to start menu, etc.)I can't find anything in policy editor to set defaults.

Set up a user exactly as you want everybody's to look (NOT the Administrator user - though it can have admin access). When you're happy with it, go to system properties/user profiles. Select one you've just set up, and click on copy to button. Browse to \Documents and Settings\Default User, change the 'Permitted to use' to Everyone and ok it. All new users will be created with your custom setup.

Thanks- it works! BTW, have not had any problems with Desktop.ini file at all...but I am using NTFS...might be the difference.
