Hello,
I have a server with SQL Serve 2008 standard that expired. It is not a proudction server, and we have an MSDN subscription so we have a fully licensed copy to use.
My questions is that since it expired, can I just install another copy over it, leaving all databases intact so I do not lost any work, to make it work? Or is there something more complicated I have to do? Is there a way to just enter the activation key provided by my MSDN account to activate the expired copy?
Thanks,
Michael
