Hello, new with SQl and this was dropped on me today:
Event Viewer: Application
Error: 17803, Severity: 20, State: 14
Insufficient memory available.
I'm getting this error all up and down the event viewer. Its on a Win2000 server, SQL 2000 SP4. Phy Memory is 4 gig.
I've looked around in SQL EM and looked for the obvious, but was told nothing has changed in SQL sinc eit was working fine. There has been slowness and and some appications that also run on this server have been unreachable.
Our Email Archiver runs on it and its been acting up over the last week. Too much fighting over memory?
Like I said, new to SQL, so not sure about its managment, so any help would be great. (Also, i searched the forums and didn't see anything that was on line with this, but if there is one out there, please point me to it.)
Thanks.
