I have an IP 406 IPO. I have a psycho customer who will not stop calling. I am a samll business owner and do many things around here so I am not a professional tech for IPO. I am somewhat knowledgable, but still a novice. I know just enough to be dangerous. I have read the other posts with regard to this kind of problem and I understand what to do as far as creating a new ICR, however, what I do not know and can not figure out is how to create the destination field for that ICR. I want it to just go to a new start point on my VMPro and then just disconnect him. When I create the new start point in VMPro, I cant get it to show up in my manager under the destination drop box when creating the new ICR. Can someone please help. Thanks in advance

If the modules called "Barred" point the ICT to VM:Barred :)

You just type that in by the way, it will not appear in the box :)

Thanks alot. That is what I need to know. Finally got the psycho blocked. You guys are always a great help. The company that sold me this system is out of business now so I am on an island because Avaya doesn't want to help with anything. Even though Im a pretty smart guy, some of this is foreign to me and you guys always come through for me. Thanks again for all of the great help, it is very much appreciated

badazponydrvr, No problem, if you let us know your location someone may well point you in the direction of a reputable company to take on your maintenance contract :)

Also to save a VM port when he rings in you could just point him to a shortcode that is set to Busy/Barred :)

Or to toy with him forward him back to his own offices main number :)

Lol...you guys are great. We are located in Oklahoma City. The options for Avaya help around here are pretty sparse, but any leads would be appreciated

did you do as amriddle suggested and do the disconnect with a shortcode instead of a voicemail flow? will save a port even if it would only be used for a few seconds.

one of the guys in the states may be able to help. we are both in the uk.

Not yet because I don't know what characters to use to make the short code. I didn't want to bug you guys anymore. But if you could direct me what characters to use for the short code, I will. Thanks

!So you guys have done this then, got dialing that matches a short code to override matching an extension number?k

On the "incomming call route" enter the CLI of the caller and point this to a fake user wit ha FWD to his own number. Watch the Delta Server SMDR logs to how many time he tried.
:p

But watch it, depends on you provider if it will cost you money. You can also sent it to a number say 00000 and he will hear "number obtained" error tone/message.

shortcode can be anything you want, something that wont be dialed like 888 or whatever.

feature is barred or busy depending on your software level. thats it!

so it would look like....

Shortcode:888
Feature:Barred
Telephone number: <blank>

Test by dialing it, if it returns busy then enter it as the destination in the icr (you will have to manually type it in)
if we didn't want to be bugged, we wouldn't log in :)

@catlitter, no, i don't think it's possible....

catlitter, you can do this by using an ARS table :)
