SP3 does exist but as a release candidate. I am using SP3 RC (rc2 is now available) and other than a small problem installing Fax services (see my thread) I have had no prblems at all. It is downloadable from the Microsof site

I can see that there is a SP3 RC2 "Refresh" as well so it must be close now.

pce. Dont forget that if you have installed all the intervening updates to SP2, then there will be very very few changes to be made.

I want it to put update our flat RIS image so it doesn't pull so much down from the WSUS server after install.

Build 5508 (SP3 RC2 Refresh) seems to be work rather well for me - not noticing any issues so far. I'm not noticing any of the SP2 outstanding issues I'm aware of, either. I hear "the end of April" from third party sources, but official from Microsoft is "by the end of Q2 2008".

But it seems like it's close, though, to being ready.
