I've upgraded an IP406 DS phone system from 3.2.54 to 4.0.7.
All seems to have gone well - Validation passed OK, the upgrade went OK, the system rebooted fine, on startup SysMonitor showed nothing out of the ordinary.
The only problem is that no phones work!
All our phones are analogue phones (connected to an ANALOG PTOTS30+ and an ANALOG POTS16+
When a handset is lifted, SysMonitor shows GODServer::RxBuffer Unknown

Any ideas? The config is obviously saved, so rolling back to 3.2.54 is an option.

Small problem - I like the positive approach.
Have you ensured the phone modules were upgraded and were not accidently unticked.

That's a good point.
For previous upgrades, the UpgradeWiz has ticked the analog modules by default if an upgrade is available for them.
When I did the upgrade to 4.0(7), there was no upgrade shown for them.
Currently they are both at 5.1(56)

I shall have a look and see if that's the latest/correct version. (Unless someone beats me to it and posts here)

Ok, the CD contents text file for the 4.0(7) Admin CD says:

POTS Module 6.0.7
POTSV2 Module 6.0.7

But it appears UpgradeWiz is not picking them up...

rule #1 in upgrading IP office's...always get your modules upgraded to the latest release, not just the control unit.

that's a 3.1 release you got there...and now on 4.0...definately the first thing to fix.

So its not showing the modules on the Upgradewiz or just not showing build 6.0 7.

Not come accross that to be honest. I wondered if you rolled it back and tried to upgrade the modules first then the CCU?

Sorted!
Somehow the working directory had been changed to the 4.0 subfolder, which doesn't contain the .bin file for the POTS modules.
Thanks for your help, and TheProvider, what you thought was optimism was sarcasm in the face of sheer panic!
If I'd come here first I could have saved myself an hour's worry!
