Hi

First post on the NEC 2100, have moved from Panasonic to NEC

Setting up a number of Auto Attendant's with options for example Press 1 to an external number. Not clear on the correct setup of the trunk to trunk transfer.
Do I use a speed dial code in the destination for example on the Panasonic it would be speed dial code **000 in the destination for option 1

Any help would be great

Michael

Hello,

It would be a virtual loopback you'd want with the external destination as a target.

Press 1 to trf to a virtual number. Then set the virtual number to CFA to the outside number. (9+number)

Hi

@belevedere

Many thanks for the help...so far I have completed the auto attendant but still having an issue with the option of dialling 1 to external number.

What I have done so far...I have setup the virtual extension say ext 130 set call forwarding to the number which 90044125......

When I dial the extension number 130 locally is does go to the external number but when I ring into the Auto Attendant and press the option 1 which set to ring ext 130 I get cut off.

Am I missing something like class of service

Many thanks for your help

Check class of service and allow call forward all off premiss.
