I have an IP500 system running 4.1 and embedded voicemail.
SIP trunks setup from Mcleod.
The SIP's come in through virtual users and are then forwarded to a hunt group.
The incoming calls work fine, until you want voicemail or auto attendant to work. I tried to setup voicemail on the hunt group the SIP lines are forwarded to. However, the voicemail reverts back to the virtual user that forwarded it to the hunt group and leaves the message there instead of the hunt groups voicemail. If I disable voicemail on that virtual user, then it goes into a loop and just rings and rings.
Is there a way to forward the call and have it "forget" the originating user? Or perhaps another way to set this up?
Thanks in advance.
