Do sip endpoint register with another IPO within a SCN resilience Fallback system or do only Avaya ip phones work with scn fallback.

It's the handset that is programmed to failover to the second system, so if the SIP endpoint has that setting available then you can, basically it isn't a system setting/function it's the handset :)

Sorry, my head was somewhere in 4.2 land there, SCN fallback which came in at R5 I think, only works Avaya 1600, 4600, 5600 and 9600 Series phones registered with the system :)

Thanks, could not find this in the docs.
Would be nice if this would work.

It does not work.
Even IPDect does not work.
Also hotdesking does not work.
There is a major issue with that.
I would only use the fallback when it is really needed and only without hotdesking.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!
