System:
P4 3.2 HT, 1 GB RAM, 2 x 300 gb SATA HD's, 2 x DVDRW, Creative Live! 5.1 Soundcard, Radeon 9600XT, Logitech QuickCam, Logitech Cordless KB/Mouse, 2 MB LAN Cable Modem.
Windows XP Pro SP2 (updated fully), Sygate Personal Firewall Pro, AVG 7.0 AntiVirus (updated), Peerguardian 2. Various Spyware removers.
On shutdown I get several programs not responding:
.NetBroadcastEvent (don't know what this is)
iexplore.exe (comes up 2 times)
It's odd that iexplore comes up as there are no open web pages and I also close IE when finished. In task manager there are 2 instances of iexplore.exe on shutdown. I can't work out why they appear. Also they sometimes timeout and I have to click end now.
The .NetBroadcastEvent comes up also though i can't find it anywhere in taskmanager. Again I have to click end now to exit it.
I have run spyware search (Adaware, Acronis Privacy & Spybot Search and Destroy - all negative for spyware) and do daily AV scans, no viruses found.
