Hello,

Im running a IP500 V2 with 6.1 software. This is being setup in a call center environment.

I want to be able to create a short code say *600 and i want it to wait for a number to be input to dial out and Show a certain phone number

IE. *600 Wait for Phone number to be entered 111-111-1111 then display 222-222-2222

I call different parts of the country and have forwarded numbers and i want to show the forwarded numbers for each part of the company so when people get the caller ID they will call it and it will be forwarded back to central office.

Thank you

*600N;
Dial
NSi2222222222

The N; will wait for any number of digits entered until your dial delay timer has elapsed which is default at 4 seconds.

That worked great thank you just a quick other question;

Sometimes i get waiting for line..

I have a 40 channels and 40 licenses active on the pri
Everyone set to dial out in line group zero

why does it wait for line?

Would need to see a trace. In Monitor select Filter>Trace Options and click click clear all. Next select Targeting and Call on the Call tab and on the ISDN tab select Layer 3 Send and Receive then make a test call and post.

However the most common cause is either analog trunks or unused PRI channels left in service and in line group 0 for outbound.
