I run PS 3.0 on Windows 2003

I have administrator rights to the citrix farm, and when I initiate a shadow session from the Console, I get a "Citrix Session Shadow Utility" window that exclaims that it had encountered a problem and we are sorry for the inconvenience. When I click on the link for more information, I get a Error signature: AppName: cshadow.exe, AppVer: 2.4.2085.1...Offset: 00364bec.

From the Shadow toolbar, I get the same as above except Offset: 00364b94.

This was working before, I have applied both the Critical Hotfixes.

Thanks for your time

chris

aha!

Are you running the latest CMC ?

Make sure you have a citrix client on the shadower pc and make sure the video is greater than or equal the target video.

What are the settings for shadowing set to?

CMC, 3.0

published desktop app setting is at 1024X768, my video is 1152X864.

I am unsure of what settings for shadowing there is, I know it's enabled, permissions are set for help desk folks, but I am also getting the error (I have local admin rights)

thanks again for your responses...

Well thats kinda exhausted my suggestions as to settings problems.

You could try using filemon and regmon from to see if you are getting permissions issues, and to see what is happening.

Hello,

We had this exact problem on a newly built PSe 3.0 server and opened a support case.

Citrix asked for the dumps and has developed these hotfixes and we have tested both and worked fine:

Window 2000 Server fix at:

Windows Server 2003 fix at:

I hope this helps.

Victor
