Setup an auomatic loud ringer

I am trying to find a way to schedule a loud ringer to ring on a daily basis at a specific time(s) of the day.. Can this be achieved on an Embedded R8.0 IPO system using the wake up, out calling, relay ..etc features.

Any hints is greatly appreciated!

Use a timer such as Altronix. Much simpler. There is beauty in simplicity.

Would you mind sending more info on this Altronix specific model and how to integrate?

Altronix makes a dozen different timers - selection depends on actual application. Is every day the same or are weekends different? How many events per day? etc. Go to Altronix.com and browse the timer section. Then wire it to a bell or noise maker. The timer gives a contact closure - how you implement depends on EXACTLY what you want to accomplish.
