I apologize if this question is rather noobish, i've always worked on nortel systems, and now i'm suddenly in charge of an Avaya Definity system. I'm trying to add Call forwarding to an extenstion, and i'm not sure what i'm doing wrong. The option has been added to the phone, but when i press the soft key option on the phone, i get an alarm sound... like something is wrong. Normally i would jump straight into the documentation, however i can't seem to locate any user manuals. A gentle nudge in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

Make sure that the phone has a Class Of Service that allows for Call Forwarding.
