Set logs calls when line appear only

T7316 on BC50 R3

Set has 4 lines as Appear Only
Log All Calls is selected.


Why does it log calls that Appear Only?
I though Log All Calls means calls they answered and call that were transferrred and they did not answer.
Am I wrong?

You would think it would be a ringing call like CLID to work but try changing to unanswered by me.

Thats what I did.....presume it will work (remote call).
But still wonder if Log All means just that....be it the set rings or not.

Seems to be true...I was looking at the wrong guides.

From the Device Configuration Guide:
Call Log creates a record of incoming external calls to a telephone, even if the telephone does not
have that line assigned.


That's too bad for the person who wants to log all calls but only for their own set.

I have call logging enabled on our system, but when I try and use the dial softkey to call the number back, it only dials 7 digits and not the area code.

Does anyone know where I can change this to 10 digit dialing?

When you have the number on the screen enter the area code then press the line and it will dial the rest of the number.
