I am using the "Understated" template in Publisher 2010 (Windows 7) and wish to add a new month and carry over the existing month's text. I go to Page Design, click Change Template, click Set Calendar Dates..., and select the new month as the start and end dates. Selecting "Apply template to the current publication" or "Create a new publication..." results in a new calendar with the proper name of the month at the top, but the calendar dates do not display under the appropriate day. Rather, it mimics the previous months day/date layout.
For example, 11/1/11 is a Tuesday and 12/1/11 is a Thursday. From the November template and using the wizard to create December, 12/1/11 shows as a Tuesday. The text is present in the new month.
It makes no difference if moving forward to next month or to previous month. If I create two months, the second month has the correct day/dates, but no text. This used to work in previous versions of Publisher.
In Pub 2003, a change date button was on the Change Template toolbar and it worked just fine. Perhaps this is different functionality or the functionality no longer exists??
Thank you in advance for your time and expertise!
