Recently installed a BCM400 4.0. We programmed a system with Target Line 243 DNIS 5673572 and assigned to Hunt Group 5 in the system. When Services is on, it is answsered by the Automated Attendant (Greeting 20, CCR3).

We tried to add Line 265 DNIS 7136000 to the same hunt group and the same Service Button as a 2nd phone number for that group, however, after programming everything up whenever we press the Service Button, the calls are not answered by the Automated Attendant in Service Mode.

The control set is assigned to 200. We have checked out all the programming and cannot figure out why this will not work.

In order to get it to work, we changed Line 243's DNIS to 7136000. Then it worked.

Is anyone aware of any bugs that would cause this problem, and if there are any patches. Any feedback?

You need to apply the same Ring Group to Line 265, that you have assigned to Line 243. Plus, the Control Set has to be applied to Line 265.

Dewey - We applied the same Ring Group to Line 265, and also made sure that the Control Set (200) was applied to Line 265. Any other ideas?

in AA, set line 265 to answer table 1. Set nite mode on and call it.. Should answer then. Turn of note mode. You can now remove the line from being answered by the AA.. Turn nite mode back on.. Call the number again and it should answer..
