Hi All,

We have just implemented a new server Ed for customer all on R9 SP3 main server and secondary running on virtual servers.

These dont really get used and are more for DR. everything is done from the old 500V2's as expansion systems. We have some strange issues with the sites that have analogue lines. Lots of clipping since upgrade.

We also have a constant login failure on all the IPO's audit trials showing the server ed failing to log in.

Anyone got any ideas.

Thanks

Seriously, quit using ananlog tunks.
This customer paid a lot for two virtual servers and still using the IP500v2 with analog trunks :)

Think about this and move over to SIP.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

Thanks Peter.

I'm trying my hardest but for some reason the sales man that jumped in and sold it doesn't really understand life so cant expect him to get that right as well.

Any Ideas on a temp fix. The last thing i had from the customer was that it sounded like someone was hitting the mic while on the phone :S

Fair. I have been trying every thing I can think of and nothing makes a difference. At this rate i may just start hitting my phone so they thing its a normal sound.

I think this can be helped by changing some of the settings under the LINE options for the Analog.

Line Settings > Analogue Options

Mess with the gains (all the way to the right in the manager screen)

I believe putting negative gain resolved this issue.

You will have to play around with it to find the right settings.

Had similar problem a couple of weeks ago. Third-party installer did not ground 500 chassis. Grounded system - been smooth as silk ever since....
