I just configured my Solaris 8 to send mail out to some users.
I commented out the second line in /etc/mail/sendmail.cf file.
# "Smart" relay host (may be null)
# DSmailhost.$m
I then did to stop & start the deamon
/etc/init.d/sendmail stop
/etc/init.d/sendmail start
I also tried #./etc.rc2.d/S88senmail stop
#./etc.rc2.d/S88senmail stop
When I did mailx myusrid@xxxxx.org to test my mail, nothing was received.
Anyone has any clue what I might be missing.
Thanks,
Sanmi
