Hello all... I'm stuck. Hope you can help.

I have both an S8300 on a G700 with a second G700 and an S8800 on a G430 with the CDR parameters as below. The problem is that the secondary link always shows down on both call servers but the primary link shows up, again on both. I tried the busyout and release commands to no avail. I also tried the test command which showed pass for the primary but fail for the secondary.

So, which ports should I connect to in front of the G450 and G700? I am using the ETR for primary and CCA for secondary of the G450 and ext1 for primary and ext2 for secondary on the G700 that houses the S8300. I think I may have the G450 connections wrong? Has anyone experience a similar situation? Also, is there an Avaya tech manual that deals with CDR? As always, your invaluable assistance is always appreciated. Thanks guys.

My current settings for both call servers is:

CDR1 and CDR2 are IP endpoints, not physical ports on the gateways. Look at your node-names ip page and see what ip addresses you have defined.

Thanks for the response wmainc, does that means that all I need is the IP addresses that I already have defined in node names? I have defined two separate IP addresses on the S8300 and S8800. So how do I "activate" the secondary CDR links ... they show "down" when I stat them. Also, what ports are used for CDR output on an S8800?
