I am trying to connect to our SECC 4.2 server to run some live data reports. I am trying to make a dashboard that will work in a web browser and that looks nicer that the GRTD client. I have installed sybase and configured the ODBC connection. I can login with the connection, however when I try to make a SQL statement the only sources I have is a list of views. None of these give me the real time data I need, the best I can do is updating every 15 minutes and thats not good enough. I've tried everything I can think of but I don't know much about Symposium. If somebody could help me out with how I might be able to do this I would appreciate it.

Thank you

Your ODBC connection gives you access into the historical statistics. Stats are written to the database in 15 minute intervals, and are not real time. The full-block Symposium/Contact Center platform provides a multicast stream with real time stats as well as a web client. However, the SECC does not come with a web client, and I believe the RSM (multicast) feature is an option that you must purchase. Might be wrong about the optional feature, but that is what I just read in the documentation for SECC.

sandyml, i am developing the web client, what I need is an ODBC connection that will give me real time stats. Is this possible? and if so, do you know how I would do that?

You may need to create a regular SECC user account that your app uses to log in, and then get the real time feed from that - kinda like the GRTD works.

I use the same user account that the GRTD uses. I have made dashboards for other systems here and am trying to make one for this system now. I have everything setup the same as the GRTD machine but I cant seem to find it.

Hello. We have SCCS v4, are also using Web Client. I thought you could upload agents via a spread sheet. Has anyone done this?

ryr, not sure how uploading agents via spread sheet applies here. Also, ctracer is using Symposium Express 4.2, not the full-sized Symposium. SECC doesn't have a web client.
