We replaced our old "ASAP" (with a unique password) with an SEB Netpath with a logon and password that clearly is the same as every other SBC (now ATT) customer.

We asked for it to be changed, and they showed up and simply added a new user/pass - the old still works.

Our initial answer was "no, wont change it" (the generic logon) I know it won't be the final answer, but I am wondering what other customers experience is.

Email instructions on how to change it if you can. Not in the manual I have

Without the IRIS/NGen programming software that your monitoring company has, there is not way to change or manage your SEB. At their mercy.....

OK. Anyway, it is very odd that they would give the same password to each box, then tell the customer what it is.

They must not realize how hackers often influence greater security: They simply post the passwords.
