Hello All,

I have a multi-site SCN Customer that contacted me saying their voicemail does not work (Centralized) at one of their remote locations.

I opened SSA on both ends and I am indeed showing the SCN is showing down at both ends, so that would make sense that voicemail is not working.

What is strange is I am seeing calls over the SCN Line, Site to Site with no issues.

Ideas?

This has nothing to do with voice mail working just because they can call across the scn. Can you ping the voice mail ip address?

joe2938: I can ping the Voicemail Pro at the Main Location from SSA at the Remote.

I am getting "The following system resources are all in use: Voicemail Channels" at the Remote Location. SSA says they have 4 Channels - None in use.

I finally got them (their IT) to admit that they made a change which is causing the issues. They replaced the Firewall. Is there a document I can send them that outlines what needs to be open on the FW to allow the SCN to function properly.

Thanks.

What type of firewall? its probably the ALG/Inspect/Transformations. it depends on the firewall brand what they call it.

kwing112000: Thank you. Its a Fortinet, not sure on the model

you need to remove the H323 ALG on that. there is a lot out there about how to do it.
