SCN ISSUE - AVAYA IPO500 WITH DRAYTEK 1

Dear All,

I am facing an issue with SCN. The issue is that we configured VPN between two locations with DrayTek Vigor 2830 routers and VPN is up we can ping the AVAYA IPOffices each other. i configured the SCN, but unfortunately the SCN line not comes UP. the release version of AVAYA IPO500 is 8.1(65). Please find the attached backup cfg for more info. Please help..

Will not stop the SCN link coming up however.... I have had to wrestle with Drayteks many times, they are notorious for interfering with things they shouldn't

Please give me a conclusion. I can change the extension numbers. If i change extension numbers of both sites to different series, Will the H323 line UP or Not?

How did you win in the wrestling with DrayTek? and what was the problem?

You need to hire someone trained to come to site and troubleshoot, posting here cannot solve your issues as we only advise on what you have told us, you don't know to test and try things that someone trained onsite would. It's like trying to talk your wife through servicing a car on a web forum...isn't going to work ,

The Drayteks are great and cheap for VPN connections but as soon as something doesn't work you are lost. Very poor tracing facilities and no detailed seetings and stuff like that makes it hard to do faultfinding. This applies to the Netgears as well.

Dear All,

I fixed the issue. i just changed the VPN. It was PPTP no IPSEC. Now its working fine.
