Dear All,

I am facing an issue with SCN. The issue is that we configured VPN between two locations with DrayTek Vigor 2830 routers and VPN is up we can ping the AVAYA IPOffices each other. i configured the SCN, but unfortunately the SCN line not comes UP. the release version of AVAYA IPO500 is 8.1(65). Please find the attached backup cfg for more info. Please help..

Those aren't public links, they require a login :)

OK, so what diagnostics have you performed? Can you ping each switch across the VPN?

OK, scratch that, I can see your problem in your IP Routes.

Switch A: 192.168.10.205 via gateway 192.168.10.1 on a 24bit subnet?
Switch B: 192.168.11.205 via gateway 192.168.11.1 on a 24bit subnet?

Who programmed the switches? very poor....

Those configs look OK, except the line numbers and outgoing line groups should be unique on each system, correct that and if it doesn't work it's probably the Draytek(s) at fault...It's probably the Drayteks anyway as I have seen an SCN up wtih the same mistake made :)

BTW, the Incoming Call route entry for line gp 17 with . as destination isn't required, it will never be matched/checked with an SCN link. That's for linking via SIP to allow breakout :)

Hold up, those IP routes are correct Sean, and that's why they are pinging :)

Dear amriddle01,

Thanks for the consideration...!

Could you please point me is there any problem in the configuration or where should i look at?

I already have :)

192.168.10.205 (255.255.255.0 i.e the whole subnet) and 192.168.10.205 (255.255.255.255 i.e just this address) will both match the 205 address and send it out. Even without the 192.168.0.0 route it will work as isn't going to match that anyway as either route I have just mentioned are more specific matches and valid, he could narrow it to a single address using the 2nd route but there is no need :)

did you get it going?
If not then try to set the metric in your default IP routes to 0 as I have to say I never set it to anything different.

And while you are at it, change the number of channels in the h.323 trunk to 4 as that is all you have licensed but that should not make a difference in initial functianality

Interrupt the silence only if you improve it by saying something, otherwise be quiet and everybody will be grateful.

both systems have conflicting extension numbers. they need to be unique.
And also get VMPro as embedded is not supported in a SCN.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

The extns are unique, unless I am going blind they were when I looked :)

Oh yeah, I think at a cusory glance I saw the 400's on one and the 200s on the other and the groups were different....I blame the drink :)
