SCN DOWN

I have been trying to setup this SCN network between two sites for the last two days and I keep getting SCN DOWN when I go to System Status- trunks

Here is what I have configured

Site A

Call server is 172.20.4.9
Gateway is 172.20.4.1

I have 8 ports configured between sites all voice under LINE 17

I have Gateway 172.20.75.10

IP Route
IP address 172.20.75.0
IP Mask 255.255.255.0
Gateway IP Address 172.20.4.1


Site B

Call server 172.20.75.106
Gateway is 172.20.75.10


IP Route
IP address 172.20.4.0
IP Mask 255.255.255.0
Gateway IP Address 172.20.4.10

Can there be a port between sites blocking my SCN

Gateway in te IP route on site B is wrong.
I think this should be 172.20.75.10

Do you use the right lanport (lan1 or lan2) on the IP route?
Otherwise try to ping the other site via system status application

 
typo error the site B is 175.20.75.10 and yes I am able to ping in both directions
 
Licenses available?

What softwareversions are the IPO's running?
 
Use SSA and ping the other site, if it fail then the config in IP Office is wrong else outgoing UDP Port 50795 is blocked by a firewall
 
General rule of thumb - it is the data link

A Maintenance contract is essential, not a Luxury.
Do things on the cheap & it will cost you dear
 
I am able to ping in both directions with the SSA and site a is 7.0 and site B is 8.1, when i verify in SSA the trunk status it says SCN Down
 
Do you have voice networking licenses on both systems?

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

 
Then you have the ports blocked.
Turn of any firewall on the routers to see if it then works.
When it does then search for the ports that are needed for SCN.
